The key players of Incredible Productions are Mac Martin, Jim Gertner, Bonnie Piedmonte and Carol Wright. The history of the association of this quartet covers decades and is much too long to include in this website. Each of us received "training" in the amusement park industry - including Six Flags and Cedar Point which eventually led to Martin, Gaertner, Piedmonte and Wright working and collobrating together.

When Did Incredible Productions open for business?

Incredible Productions was established in 1980 in Dallas, Texas. Prior to that, co-founders Mac Martin and Jim Gaertner were partners along with Dallas showman, Charles R. Meeker Jr. and Judy Houghton in "Charlie's Place", a Dinner Theatre operation in Ft. Worth, Texas. After Mr. Meeker passed away in 1976, Martin and Gaertner moved the theatre to Dallas under the name "Incredible Charlies!" They soon discovered that conventions and business meetings were a market for their brand of customized shows. Instead of bringing the convention groups to their theatres, they started taking their shows to the conventions. "Our theatre seating was limited and, frankly, our shows were better than our steaks and spaghetti."

"Incredible's" first major project in 1980 was a tour introducing a new line of Kirby vacuum cleaners. "We lost money on the tour, but everyone involved received a new vacuum cleaner!"
